Product News: Cold and Flu Season-Protect You and Your Family
November 5, 2019
It is the cold and flu season . . . protect you and your family!
Many things that can affect our health and especially now with the cold and flu season upon us!

Many of you have heard . . . "Wash your hands - a lot!" Right? Well, actually you may want to take it a few step further . . . "Wash your home, too!" . . . and even further . . . "Build your immune system!"

Boost Immune System . . .
Boost your immune system to the max. Go for super nutrition. And don't mess around with the knock off brands in drug stores and discount stores!

Hand Washing . . .
Rethink your hand washing habits. Stock hand sanitizer's from your Partner Stores like Office Depot, Ace Hardware, Sears or Kmart for traveling, quick clean-ups and to help reduce the spread of germs.

Disinfecting your home . . .
Simple defense. Every light switch, doorknob, faucet, toilet handle, and counter top is a potential "garden" of flu bugs. Use warm water, lots of soap, lots of rubbing, and drying with a paper towel.

Boost Your Immune System

Echinacea to boost the immune system. And don't mess around with the knock off brands in drug stores and discount stores. The label should say it's a blend of purpurea root and aerial parts, plus angustifolia root. Anything less is a "fooler" . . . designed perhaps to please your pocketbook, but probably make a fool of your immune system.

I want my immune system at 100%, so for the next two weeks, I will take Echinacea at least 3 times a day in whatever form is most convenient at the time. Or if I feel threatened, I would consider taking the tabs, the liquid, and the spray.

I like Nutrilite's brand of Echinacea because the company disciplines itself and voluntarily manufactures to the highest standards. Every tablet contains the stated amount of Echinacea. Other brands are not so reliable. You could be paying less, but playing nutritional roulette.

Super Nutrition

In addition to Nutrilite Double X Multivitamin (A-4300 & A244), I would add Nutrilite Concentrated Fruits and Vegetables (10-0648 & 10-0346 for children). This is a dynamite blend of extracts from blueberries, elderberries, rosemary, acerola cherries, broccoli, spinach, and carrots . . .  all the things we usually don't eat enough of.

Also add Nutrilite Vitamin C Plus (10-9747). My Primary Care M.D. (who specializes in supplements and herbals for wellness) says plain old cheap ascorbic acid doesn't do the job . . . and may do harm in high quantities. A natural source Vitamin C with Acerola Cherry concentrate is essential.
